Glasshouse Cricket Club Celebrates Success in Sunshine Coast Council Major Grant Funding Application
We’re thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Nets Block toilet refurbishment, made possible through the generous support of the Sunshine Coast Council’s Major Grant Funding program. The completion of this project marks a significant milestone for our club and the local community.
The Nets Block, one of our highest-use toilet facilities, was long overdue for a makeover. Thanks to the Sunshine Coast Council’s grants program, we revitalised this essential facility, ensuring a more comfortable and hygienic experience for all our members and visitors.
The achievements of the refurbishment project include:
New Toilets and Handbasins: Upgrading the facilities to modern standards, enhancing user comfort.
New Doors and Internal Walls: Improving the overall structure for increased durability and aesthetics.
Epoxy Flooring: A practical and resilient flooring solution, providing a clean and polished look.
On Budget & On Time: Through careful planning and execution, the project was completed within the allocated budget and timeline.
In the spirit of community and Rangers Pride, we’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to two of our club members, Ben Stokes and Nick Cole, both players in our senior men’s teams.
Ben Stokes generously donated his time and expertise, overseeing the entire project and actively participating in the building work. His dedication ensured the success of the refurbishment and we are immensely grateful for his commitment to the club.
Nick Cole played a crucial role in managing the plumbing aspects of the project, contributing his skills to guarantee a seamless and functional facility. Nick’s dedication to the plumbing side of the refurbishment was essential to the overall success of the project.
The commitment and contribution received from both Ben and Nick exemplify the sense of community and teamwork that makes Glasshouse Cricket Club a special place.
Glasshouse Cricket Club looks forward to continuing to enhance our facilities and strengthen our community connections. We extend our gratitude to the Sunshine Coast Council for their support and look forward to continued growth and success.
