JUNIOR CRICKET STAGES 1-3

Please find details below relating to the Junior Cricket Competition, Stages 1, 2, and 3.

Played: 9 Oct 2021 to Feb 2022 (with Xmas break)
Games played at Glasshouse & other Sunshine Coast Cricket Association clubs.

U11s: Stage 1
Fees: $170

7 players on field
Saturday mornings: 2hrs
142gm plastic commander ball / 16m pitch
Note: all batters face 17 balls and do not retire if given out!

U12 / U13s: Stage 2
Fees: $210

9 players on field
Saturday mornings: 3hrs
142gm leather ball / 18m pitch
Note: batters retire if out or after 35 balls faced.

U14s – U17s: Stage 3
Fees: $280

11 players on field
Saturday mornings: 7.45am-11.30am/12pm
156gm ball – played on turf & synthetic pitch.

U14s – U17s: Stage 3 + Senior Player
Fees: $420

As per Stage 3 with players opting in for additional GDCC senior matches played Saturday afternoon.

FEES INCLUDE

Glasshouse playing and training shirts, player insurance, Sunshine Coast Cricket Association fees, match balls & weekly structured team coaching sessions.

CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT

This season Stage 1-3 players will be required to provide their own batting and inner gloves this season – in response to COVID-19 requirements.

When playing games players wear:
● supplied Glasshouse playing shirt;
● cricket trousers;
● personal protective equipment;
● Batting/wicketkeeper helmets:
– Players to supply their own helmet if possible or club can supply via in-season loan;
● shoes:
– rubber spikes / regular white runners or,
– turf spikes (optional for games on turf wickets); and
● a broad-brimmed white hat or Glasshouse Club cap.

Feel free to use your own equipment if you prefer, or we will have equipment available for training & on game day! Please ensure all privately owned gear is clearly labeled.
